Dhurandhar 2 Teaser to Play with Border 2? Fans Can’t Keep Calm

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Part 2 has emerged as one of the most anticipated films of the year, and fans may soon get another big-screen glimpse of the sequel. According to a report, the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 is set to be attached to Border 2 , which releases in theatres on January 23.

The report, originally published by Bollywood Hungama, was shared on Reddit, where it claimed that director Aditya Dhar has re-edited the end-credit sequence of Dhurandhar to serve as a teaser for the second part. This revised teaser is expected to play in theatres along with Border 2, starting January 23.

The timing of the teaser buzz comes as Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues its strong theatrical run even a month after release. The first instalment has become the highest-grossing film of 2025, further amplifying anticipation for the sequel, which is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19.

For the unversed, a teaser for Dhurandhar 2 was already shown at the end of the first film. Clips from that teaser had gone viral on social media, giving fans a glimpse into the action-packed sequel and fuelling curiosity about how the story would unfold.

Helmed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 is a spy action thriller inspired by real-life geopolitical events, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The sequel will explore Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza’s backstory, tracing his rise in Lyari and the completion of his covert anti-terror mission.

The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi, among others, and will clash at the box office with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for GrownUps on March 19.

Meanwhile, Border 2 is an epic war drama and the sequel to J. P. Dutta’s 1997 classic Border. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, alongside Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana. Based on the 1971 India–Pakistan war and real-life events, the film is slated for a theatrical release on January 23.
