Jay Bhanushali - Mahhi Vij Divorce Reports Surface After 14 Years of Marriage
Television’s beloved couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have reportedly ended their marriage after more than a decade together. As per a Hindustan Times report, the duo filed for divorce a few months ago, with papers “signed and finalised in July–August 2025.” The report also mentioned that custody arrangements for their children have been settled.
Jay and Mahhi tied the knot in 2011 and share three children daughter Tara, born in 2019, and foster kids Rajveer and Khushi, whom they welcomed into their family in 2017.
A source close to the couple revealed, “Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon.”
According to reports, Mahhi’s trust issues with Jay led to growing tension between the two. Once known for their joint vlogs and happy posts, the couple reportedly stopped sharing pictures together after their last family post in June 2024. They were last seen together publicly during daughter Tara’s birthday celebration in August.
Recently, Jay shared pictures from a trip with his daughters, while Mahhi moved into a new home with the kids two weeks ago.
A Playful Exchange Amid Speculation
Despite ongoing rumours, Jay and Mahhi seem to maintain cordial communication. On October 18, Jay posted a reel from Tokyo with daughter Tara, captioned, “Tokyo drift toh suna hoga now see how father and daughter drift in Shibuya crossing.”
Mahhi commented, “Uska bow dekho papa ke sath ghumna aur mummy ke sath ghumna proper bow.”
Jay playfully replied, “Mom ke saath itna nahi hasti jitna baap ke saath hasti hain.”
Mahhi’s Response to Divorce Rumours
When asked about divorce speculations earlier, Mahhi had responded candidly to Hauterrfly:
“Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation?”
She further added, “Here, people look at single mothers and divorces very differently… I feel there’s a lot of pressure from society. Just live and let live.”
While the couple’s split marks the end of a long chapter, both Jay and Mahhi continue to focus on co-parenting their children with mutual respect and maturity, choosing peace over public drama.
