Before the big Goa premiere, the duo took their promotions to the holy city of Varanasi. Kriti and Dhanush performed the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, soaking in the divine atmosphere. The spiritual stop wasn’t just about promotions, it reflected the film’s deep-rooted connection with Banaras.

Speaking about the project, Kriti Sanon shared that, “This is a very special film, and in only a few films do we feel that we are making something different... We came here to take the blessings of Mahadev. There is a special relationship with Banaras...”

Dhanush echoed the sentiment, revealing his long-standing bond with the city. “I don't think Aanand L. Rai can make any film without Banaras in it... Banaras is always a part of our film, and we are also part of Banaras. This film also has a connection with Banaras... This place is very special to me, and the connection I have with this place is very special,” he said.

Interestingly, director Aanand L. Rai had first teased Tere Ishk Mein on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, the cult romantic drama that also starred Dhanush. Produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow Productions, the film now steps into theatres with a blend of love, nostalgia, and a whole lot of Banaras charm.

With its emotional roots and star-studded momentum, Tere Ishk Mein begins its journey on a powerful note, right where it belongs, in front of an eager audience.
