Mukesh Khanna Criticises Samay Raina In Response To Still Alive Video, Calls Out “Kutte Ki Dum”

On Wednesday 8th April 2026, Mukesh Khanna made a post on social media in which he wrote “Samay Raina tu sirf gadhe par baithne layak hai, Woh bhi muh kala karke” and he edited the picture in which Samay can be seen sitting on a donkey with his face blackened.

In the caption, The actor went on calling him that he has faced backlash from the country and called him shameless. “Poore desh ne latada maara, fir aagaya besharmo ki tarah aur maar khaane”

The whole caption was “kutte ki dum tedhi rehti hai usey lakh sheeshiyon mein rakho bahar nikaalo fir tedhi ki tedhi. Samay Raina ki bhi ek dum hai, kitna bhi maaro seedha karo woh vapis tedhi hojaati hai kyonki woh seedha saada praani nahi hai woh roasted praani hai, gandagi ki aag mei jalaya hua pakaya hua. What did Samay Raina say?

He also claimed that they were trying to grab the opportunity to regain their relevance amid the India’s Got Latent controversy. In the middle of this, Samay says, “Shaktiman bhi aagaya tha yaar, Shaktiman se kaise ladenge,” and recalls how Mukesh Khanna criticized him and the other comedians on the panel.

Samay also said and claimed that during the airing of the show Shaktiman, several children attempted to imitate the character Shaktiman by jumping off buildings. “Tune bacche maare hai tu kya moral high ground lekar baitha hai,” Samay said, which translates to "Children died because of your show and yet you’re claiming the moral high ground.”

The controversy sparked in 2025, When Ranveer Allahbadia a.k.a Beer Biceps made a joke on the show called India’s Got Latent and after that clips started circulating online. People all over the country felt the joke was insensitive and crossed comedic boundaries and this sparked outrage, Which led to several FIRs and eventually Samay Raina shut down the show.
