Orry Talks About His Friendship With Sara Ali Khan, Calls Ibrahim Ali Khan the Industry’s Most ‘Besharam’

Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has reignited online chatter by making a pointed remark about Ibrahim Ali Khan while appearing on Elvish Yadav’s podcast. In a promo clip from the show that has gone viral, Orry labelled Sara Ali Khan’s brother as “the most besharam in the industry,” adding fresh fuel to his ongoing spat with Sara and her family.

During the podcast, Orry was asked about his friendships within Bollywood and clarified that his connections were not the result of any exclusive celebrity circle. He dismissed the idea of a Bollywood group chat, explaining that his friendships developed organically over time.

Orry also shared how his bond with Sara Ali Khan began. Recalling the early days, he said that people frequently asked him questions about Sara on the now-defunct app AskFM. This led him to message Sara on Facebook, even before they had met in person. Their first meeting eventually took place in New York, where a mutual friend had arranged a dinner. Though the friend didn’t show up, Orry and Sara went ahead, met again subsequently, and gradually became close friends.

The influencer’s remark about Ibrahim came in response to a question by Elvish Yadav, who asked him who he thought was the most “shameless” person in the industry. While the full episode is set to release on Friday, the promo clip alone has already attracted significant attention online.

Orry’s comments come amid a very public fallout with Sara Ali Khan that has been playing out on social media over the past few days. He has repeatedly taken digs at Sara, her career, and even mocked names linked to her family. Recently, fans noticed that Sara and Ibrahim had unfollowed Orry on Instagram. When asked about it, Orry claimed he had unfollowed them much earlier.

The tension escalated after Orry posted a now-deleted reel using the phrase “3 worst names,” which many interpreted as a dig at Sara, her mother Amrita Singh, and Palak Tiwari. The situation drew even more attention when Orry shared a reel on January 26 and sarcastically replied to a fan by saying his outfit was “holding together Sara Ali Khan’s hits.”

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Orry addressed the rift directly, stating that he had unfollowed Sara long ago and had not followed Ibrahim in years. He also said that pretending to be friends with Sara would mean ignoring what he described as trauma caused by her mother, Amrita Singh. According to Orry, an apology could potentially change things in the future.

So far, Sara Ali Khan and her family have not responded to Orry’s remarks or addressed the controversy publicly.
