The 98th Academy Awards, one of the biggest nights in global cinema, celebrated the finest films and performances of the past year. The ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and was hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, who returned to helm the prestigious event once again.

This year’s Oscars saw several historic moments, emotional speeches, and major wins across categories. The film “One Battle After Another” emerged as the biggest winner of the night, taking home multiple awards including Best Picture and Best Director. Meanwhile, “Sinners”, which had received a record 16 nominations, also made a strong mark with major wins, including Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan.

Among the acting categories, Michael B. Jordan secured his first Oscar for his performance in Sinners, while Jessie Buckley won the Best Actress award for Hamnet. Supporting acting honours went to Sean Penn and Amy Madigan for their standout performances.
