Rashmika and Vijay’s Airport Appearance in Mumbai Fuels Wedding Speculation

Mumbai, India- Amid swirling chatter about a possible wedding, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, capturing widespread attention from fans and paparazzi alike.

The two stars touched down separately on Sunday night, with Mandanna arriving in a casual brown top, black jeans and boots, clutching a book as she moved swiftly through the terminal, avoiding eye contact with photographers. She didn’t stop to pose and promptly made her way into a waiting car.

Vijay Deverakonda, dressed in a black T-shirt and light brown trousers, also tried to maintain a low profile, partially covering his face with a mask. But a young fan recognised him and elicited a brief interaction - during which he removed his mask, posed for a photo and shook hands.

What really set social media alight was footage of both actors leaving in the same car after their airport appearances, a moment that ignited fresh rounds of speculation about their relationship status and potential marriage plans.

Despite persistent rumours that date back to their on-screen pairing in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019) and reports that they exchanged rings in October 2025 neither Rashmika nor Vijay has publicly confirmed any wedding date or details.

A source close to the duo previously told Hindustan Times that the pair may wed on February 26, 2026, at a heritage palace in Udaipur, followed by a Hyderabad reception for industry friends yet no official announcement has been made.

Earlier this month at the airport, when congratulated on the rumours, Rashmika appeared to smile and blush, further adding to the frenzy. In a separate media interaction, she acknowledged how long the speculation has lasted, noting people have been asking similar questions for years.

As fans continue to flood social platforms with heart emojis and conspiracy theories, the latest joint sighting at the Mumbai airport has only intensified curiosity over one of Indian cinema’s most talked-about off-screen pairings.
