Expecting her second child with Anand Ahuja, Sonam chose a soft lime-green lehenga paired with a matching cape for the occasion. The guest list reflected the celebratory mood. Kareena Kapoor Khan arrived in a blue-and-white suit with gota patti work, styled with a neat bun, jhumkas, and a bindi. Khushi Kapoor opted for a white-and-yellow saree, pairing it with loose hair, a pearl choker, and matching earrings. The gathering also saw Bhumi Pednekar, Shabana Azmi, Masaba Gupta, and members of the Kapoor family including Anil Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, and Maheep Kapoor.

Sonam and Anand, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first child, Vayu, in 2022.
