Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Docuseries & Final Show Concert Film Debut on Disney+

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour phenomenon continues with a major streaming event: a six-episode documentary series titled “The End of an Era” and a concert film, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” premiering on Disney+ on December 12, 2025. The releases arrive nearly a year after the historic tour concluded and are designed to give fans an even closer look at the creative engine behind one of the most successful tours in music history.

The Eras Tour shattered records around the world, grossing over $2 billion and breaking multiple attendance milestones during its 2023-2024 run. Building on that momentum, Disney+ is now offering fans both spectacle and storytelling: the concert film captures Swift’s final tour stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, on December 8, 2024, featuring the full live performance, including songs from her The Tortured Poets Department album that weren’t part of earlier film versions.

“The End of an Era” docuseries delivers a deeper narrative than the concert film alone. Across six episodes, it documents Swift’s creative process, tour planning, emotional moments on the road, and the personal connections that shaped the touring experience. Viewers will see behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage and candid interactions with Swift’s band, dancers, crew, and family. Celebrity friends and opening acts such as Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch also appear, offering commentary and insights.

The documentary’s title reflects more than the end of a tour - it signals the conclusion of a pivotal and transformative chapter in Swift’s career. In previously released trailers, Swift narrates reflections on the collective experience shared with fans and how those moments helped shape her artistic evolution. The series will launch in three waves, with two episodes dropping on December 12, followed by two on December 19 and the final pair on December 26.

Meanwhile, The Final Show concert film presents a cinematic celebration of the tour’s finale. Recorded before tens of thousands of fans in Vancouver, it delivers high-energy performances and a full setlist spanning Swift’s extensive discography. This version stands apart from past Eras Tour films because it features the Tortured Poets Department segment for the first time - a section added to live performances only after the original film had been completed.

Disney+ subscribers worldwide can stream both the documentary and the concert film, with platforms such as JioHotstar carrying them in regions like India. Special preview broadcasts on ABC are also planned in select markets, widening accessibility beyond streaming.

The coordinated release of both documentary and concert content reflects the growing trend of pop stars leveraging streaming platforms to connect with global audiences. For Swift, whose dedicated fanbase collectively known as Swifties has propelled her to unprecedented commercial heights, “The End of an Era” and "The Final Show" are poised to become defining cultural touchpoints for 2025 holiday entertainment and beyond.
