Timothée Chalamet Declares Love For Kylie Jenner During Awards Speech; Watch Her Reaction

Hollywood heartthrob Timothée Chalamet made headlines last night with a rare public declaration of love for his girlfriend Kylie Jenner while accepting the Critics Choice Award for Best Actor. The 30-year-old actor took the stage after winning the award for his performance in Josh Safdie’s acclaimed drama Marty Supreme , beating out heavyweights like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, and Michael B. Jordan.

During his acceptance speech, Timothée turned his attention to Kylie, who was in the audience, saying, "Thank you to my partner for three years. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." Cameras caught Kylie mouthing “I love you” back at the actor, creating one of the night’s most heartwarming moments.

Marty Supreme, which premiered earlier this year, tells the story of a 1950s New York shoe salesman who works tirelessly to become a professional table tennis player, loosely inspired by American table tennis star Martin Reisman. Timothée praised director Josh Safdie during his speech, stating, "You made a story about a flawed man with a relatable dream, and you didn’t preach to the audience about what’s right and wrong. I think we should all be telling stories like that. Thank you for this dream."

He also acknowledged his fellow nominees: Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another, Joel Edgerton for Train Dreams, Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon, Michael B. Jordan for Sinners, and Wagner Moura for The Secret Angel.

Fans couldn’t help noticing Michael B. Jordan’s reaction. The 38-year-old remained stony-faced as cameras cut to him while Timothée gushed about Kylie. Social media quickly exploded with humorous reactions. One fan wrote, “Not them cutting to Michael B Jordan,” while another said, “The camera being on Michael B. Jordan while Timothée says thank you to my partner of three years.”

Timothée and Kylie publicly began dating in 2023 after keeping their relationship private for some time. Despite his heartfelt declaration at the Critics Choice Awards, the couple had attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival separately the day before, posing individually on the red carpet.

Their public appearances have been memorable. At the Marty Supreme premiere, the duo stunned in matching tangerine leather outfits, a look mirrored at last night’s Critics Choice Awards by Hacks stars Meg Stalter and Paul W. Downs. Paul explained, "We've been shooting season five of Hacks and so we haven't had a lot of time to shop so we just borrowed from friends." Meg added, "My really close friend - I'm not going to name any names - she let me borrow this dress. Fits like a glove."

At the awards, One Battle After Another also made a clean sweep, taking home Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Irish star Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for her portrayal of Agnes Shakespeare in the historical drama Hamnet. Meanwhile, Jacob Elordi from Euphoria won Best Supporting Actor for The Creature in Frankenstein, and Amy Madigan earned Best Supporting Actor for her role in Weapons.

The night was a mix of romance, Hollywood glamour, and unforgettable awards moments, with Timothée Chalamet’s public love declaration stealing the show.
