According to weather experts, fog will be at its worst between December and February. To ensure passenger safety, the Railways have decided to cancel and reschedule several trains during this period. From December 1 to February 28, as many as 28 express trains and 16 passenger trains will remain fully cancelled, while 20 trains will run with reduced frequency.

Railway officials say dense fog severely affects visibility, making signalling and safe operations challenging. To avoid accidents, train services have been curtailed and schedules adjusted. Passengers are strongly advised to check train status and ticket details before travelling to avoid last-minute trouble.
