Step 1:
Visit the UIDAI official page: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar

Step 2:
Enter your 28-digit Enrolment ID, which includes the 14-digit enrolment number and the 14-digit timestamp (e.g. 1234/12345/12345 dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss), along with the captcha code.

Step 3:
Click 'Check Status'. If the update has been processed successfully, you will see a confirmation message stating, 'Your Aadhaar is generated'.

Step 4:
If your update is still under review or has not been processed, the status will indicate the same. In that case, wait a few more days and check again.

What to Do If You Don’t Have Your Enrolment ID?

Don’t worry if you’ve lost your Enrolment ID. UIDAI allows you to retrieve it using your registered mobile number or email address.

Step 1:
Go to https://resident.uidai.gov.in/lost-uideid

Step 2:
Enter your full name and either your registered mobile number or email ID. Enter the security captcha shown on the screen.

Step 3:
Click on 'Send OTP'. You'll receive a one-time password on your mobile or email.

Step 4:
Enter the OTP to verify. Once verified, you will receive your Enrolment ID via SMS or email.

Step 5:
Use the retrieved Enrolment ID to go back to the status page and follow the same steps to check the Aadhaar update status.

When Should You Check Aadhaar Update Status?

It’s recommended to check your Aadhaar update status after 2–3 working days of submitting the update request. In some cases, it might take up to 7–10 working days depending on the nature of the update and the processing load at UIDAI.
