The results will be released on May 4 for all four states and one union territory. This day would see the simultaneous counting of over 824 assembly seats.

Assam


The polling took place in Assam on April 9 for its 126 seats and all pollsters predicted the NDA alliance to win and that too with a wide margin, with My Axis India and JVC giving the NDA alliance a grand total of 94 seats.

Tamil Nadu


Tamil Nadu has a total of 234 seats, and the voting took place in a single phase on April 23. Most of the pollsters are predicting DMK+ to win. However, only My Axis India predicted TVK to win with 109 seats.


Kerala


Kerala’s voting took place on April 9 and it has 140 seats. The pollsters are predicting the United Democratic Front to win the elections with razor thin margins over the Left Democratic Front. With P-Marq giving the steepest edge to UDF with 75 seats and LDF getting 65 seats. Axis My India’s polls gave the most room for victory for UDF with 83 seats and LDF at 55. Across surveys, BJP is expected to get 2-4 seats.

Puducherry


In Puducherry, the voting took place on April 9 for its 30 seats and all predicted NRC+ to win with a slight margin over INC+ with JVC predicting NRC+ to win 16 seats and INC+ to win 12 seats.

West Bengal


In West Bengal, the polling took place in two phases on April 23 and 29 and most are expecting BJP to win with a slight margin. However, only People’s pulse has predicted TMC to win with a landslide 185 seats.
