An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Lucknow was grounded on Saturday morning after a technical issue prevented it from taking off. Flight 6E-2111, carrying 151 passengers including Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav was scheduled to depart around 10:30 AM from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow.
As the aircraft struggled to move down the runway, the pilots applied emergency brakes, bringing it to a halt. Passengers were later transferred to an alternate plane, and the airline issued an apology for the disruption.

Reports suggest the aircraft couldn’t accelerate along the runway, prompting the emergency response.
This isn’t the first technical hiccup for the airline in recent days. On September 6, IndiGo’s flight 6E-1403 from Kochi to Abu Dhabi had to return to its origin after flying for over two hours due to a mid-air fault. The aircraft, which took off at 11:10 PM on September 5, landed back in Kochi at around 1:44 AM on September 6.
IndiGo is investigating both incidents to ensure passenger safety and minimize disruptions going forward.
