Kerala Assembly Elections 2026 Constituency Wise Winner List
Kerala Assembly Elections 2026 has recorded a strong voter turnout of 78.27% in its 140 constituencies, whose voting took place on April 9. The main battle took place between the United Development Front and the Left Development Front . Here are the top winners of each constituency:
One of the biggest shockers came from the Bharatiya Janata Party whose leader and former union minister V Muraleedharan won the Kazhakkootam constituency in a razor thin battle against Kadakampally Surendran of the CPI(M). Even after eighteen rounds of counting the fight was neck to neck and everyone was keen to watch who would win from this constituency. Finally after a gruelling battle Muraleedharan emerged on top with 428 votes.
Expelled Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader V Kunhikrishnan has won in a razor thin margin against T.I Madhusoodhanan of CPI(M), the same party that had expelled him. The feat is even more remarkable considering he was fighting independently. Speaking on his victory he said "My victory is a reflection of the people's wish to correct the wrongdoings of the CPI(M) leadership,". He won by 7487 votes.
Another shocker was Chandy Oommen’s win In Puthuppally. He is an active member of Indian National Congress and has defeated K M Radhakrishnan of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He defeated Radhakrishnan rather comfortably with a margin of 52,907 votes.
Ramesh Chennithala of Indian National Congress has defeated TT Jismon of Communist Party of India ( Marxist) with a breathtaking margin of 23,387 votes after a gruelling 15 rounds of vote counting.
This was the largest win in the Kerala state elections and this was between P K Kunhalikutty of Indian union Muslim League and K T Mujeeb Rahman of Nationalist Congress Party - Sharadchandra Pawar. Here after 26 rounds of counting, P K won with over 80,000 votes.
