PM Kisan Alert: ₹2,000 Installment May Be Stopped Without This Update
A crucial alert has been issued for millions of farmers waiting for the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). If you are expecting the ₹2,000 payment due in February 2026, this update deserves your immediate attention.
Every year, thousands of farmers miss out on their installment, not because the scheme has stopped, but due to incomplete e-KYC, Aadhaar issues, or small technical mistakes. With the government tightening verification rules, even a minor error can delay or block your payment.
The most common reason for payment failure is pending e-KYC, which is now mandatory for all beneficiaries. Apart from this, issues like Aadhaar not linked to the bank account, DBT not activated, or incorrect bank details, such as name spelling, account number, or IFSC code, can stop the transfer.
Another major reason is land record verification. The government is physically verifying land details, and farmers whose land records are not updated on the PM Kisan portal are being removed from the beneficiary list.
While the government hasn’t announced an official date yet, farmers are strongly advised to check and correct their status now. If your status shows Pending or No, visit your nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or block agriculture office immediately to avoid missing the ₹2,000 payment.
A small check today can save you from a big disappointment tomorrow.
