This new corridor will slash travel time between Guwahati and Silchar from 8.5 hours to just 5 hours, making road trips way faster.
It will also ease up traffic on NH-6, connect more towns and airports in the region, boost local industries like cement and coal, and help open up trade routes, giving a big push to jobs, tourism, and overall growth in the Northeast.
