UIDAI Teams Up With Google To Simplify Aadhaar Centre Search: The Unique Identification Authority of India has announced a major step towards improving public convenience by partnering with Google to display authorised Aadhaar centres on Google Maps. The Google Maps integration will allow residents across the country to easily locate verified government services with greater clarity and confidence. The facility is expected to become available in the coming months and is designed to simplify access while reducing misinformation about Aadhaar service points.

Easier Access To Verified Aadhaar Centres

Under this initiative, residents searching for Aadhaar centres will be directed only to authorised and verified locations. This step is expected to significantly reduce confusion caused by inaccurate listings and unauthorised service providers.

The platform will clearly mention the type of UIDAI services available at each centre. Whether it is adult enrolment, child enrolment or limited services such as mobile number and address updates, users will be able to identify the exact facility that matches their requirement before stepping out. Next Phase To Enable Feedback And Appointments

The partnership will expand in the subsequent phase. UIDAI will utilise Google Business Profile tools to manage and regularly update centre information. This will also allow the authority to respond directly to public feedback, creating a more responsive and accountable service ecosystem.

Looking ahead, both organisations are exploring the possibility of enabling online appointment booking directly through the Google Maps interface. If implemented, residents will be able to schedule their visits in advance, helping reduce waiting time and crowding at service points.
