Large parts of Northwest and Central India are expected to remain under heatwave conditions. The rising temperatures have already made daily life difficult, especially during afternoon hours.

The hilly regions are set to witness significant weather activity over the next few days. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh may receive light to moderate rain along with snowfall between April 27 and 28.
Strong winds with speeds of 30 to 50 km per hour are also expected, along with thunder and lightning. These conditions may affect travel and outdoor activities in these areas.
Himachal Pradesh is likely to see similar weather activity from April 28 to 30, while Uttarakhand may experience rain and storms from April 28 to May 2. There is also a chance of hailstorms in isolated areas, particularly on April 28 and 29.
