West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 Constituency Wise Winner List


The West Bengal Assembly elections took place in two phases on April 23 and April 29 for its 293 seats because there is going to be a repolling in Falta on May 21. It had a very high voter turnout and the results were declared yesterday on May 4. Here are the list of biggest winners:

Suvendu Adhikari (Bhabanipur)


In what has been one of the most anticipated and closely watched matchups of the day is TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari of Bharatiya Janata Party . Suvendu Adhikari won the voting in the Bhabanipur constituency with a close margin of 15105 votes. The razor-thin margins and both being the main face of their respective parties in Bengal added suspense to the win.

Agnimitra Paul ( Asansol Dakshin )


Asansol Dakshin has been a stronghold for Bharatiya Janata Party who had won it in the last elections of 2021. The current sitting MLA of Asansol Dakshin Agnimitra Paul has once again got a chance to represent Asansol Dakhsin in the lok sabha as she has won with a comfortable margin of 40,839 votes defeating Tapas Banerjee of All Indian Trinamool Congress


Suvendu Adhikari (Nandigram)


Nandigram is one of the important assembly seats in Bengal. It is extremely significant as it was home to the 2007 Nandigram protest which shows just how politically charged this place is. This time too Suvendu Adhikari has won with 9665 votes.

Dilip Ghosh (Kharagpur Sadan)


One of the most prolific candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party, Dilip Ghosh was in a tight race with Pradip Sarkar of All Indian Trinamool Congress, winning with a comfortable margin of 30,506 votes.


Gouri Shankar Ghosh (Murshidabad)


This has been one of the most comfortable victories for BJP as Gouri Shankar Ghosh has established a strong lead over TMC’s Shaoni Singha Roy rather early and won with 31521 votes.

Ashok Dinda (Moyna)


Former cricketer turned politician Ashok Dinda is running in Moyna from the Bharatiya Janata Party and has won rather comfortably over Chandan Mondal of TMC with 16,241 votes.

Nawsad Siddique (Bhangar)


Mohammad Nawsad Siddique of All India Secular Front has won in a head to head matchup against Trinamool’s Saokat Molla with a huge margin of 32308 votes.

Panna Lal Halder (Diamond harbour)


The win for Panna Lal Halder of TMC has been very easy as he defeated BJP’s Dipak Kumar Halder with a huge sum of votes.
