The newly announced Banglar Yuva Sathi scheme is set to launch from 1 April 2026, offering monthly financial assistance to eligible youth. The programme is designed to ease financial stress while young job seekers search for employment or pursue skill development. With registration camps, online applications, and direct bank transfers, the initiative reflects a broader push towards structured youth support and employment readiness.

Monthly Assistance To Support Job Seekers

Under the Banglar Yuva Sathi scheme, unemployed youth will receive Rs 1,500 per month as financial assistance. This support is intended to help individuals manage basic expenses while they prepare for employment opportunities or undertake training programmes.

The allowance will be credited directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer system. The financial support can continue for a maximum period of five years, ensuring sustained assistance during the employment search phase.

Application Process And Registration Camps

To ensure wide accessibility, applications will be accepted through special registration camps organised across assembly constituencies. These camps are scheduled to distribute and collect forms within a fixed enrolment window.

Applicants can also complete the process online by registering on the official portal. After mobile number verification through OTP, candidates must fill in personal details, upload documents, and submit bank information. Once submitted, an application ID is generated, allowing candidates to track their status digitally.
