A thing worth only Rs 10, cockroaches will run away in a moment, 99 percent people do not know this!
Cockroaches are some of the most annoying and unwanted insects in the home. They're especially common in kitchens, bathrooms, and damp areas. They're not only unsightly but also spread many diseases. Some people use commercially available chemical sprays or powders to kill cockroaches. However, these can be dangerous for children and pets. Therefore, it's best to use safe, home-based methods. A bowl is a very effective and easy solution.
Things you'll need: 1-2 banana peels (peeled), a bowl or small container, 1-2 teaspoons of detergent (liquid or powder), 1-2 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 cup of water (about 100-120 ml)
How to make it?
1. Cut the banana peel into small pieces. If desired, mash it lightly to spread the aroma more.
2. Add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar to the bowl.
3. Add 1-2 teaspoons of detergent.
4. Add half a cup of water and mix everything thoroughly.
5. The mixture should be thin, not too thick.
Place the mixing bowl where cockroaches are most likely to be seen, such as under the kitchen sink, in the corner of a cupboard, behind the refrigerator, near the trash can, or in the bathroom (if there are a lot of them).
The sweet smell of sugar and banana peel attracts cockroaches. They approach the mixture, fall into it, or drink it. The detergent sticks to their bodies and blocks their breathing passages. Because of this, they soon die.
Always keep this bowl out of reach of children and pets. Change the mixture every day or two, as the banana peel can make the smell dull and reduce the effectiveness of the detergent. Keeping the house clean, covering food and water containers, and keeping wet areas dry are also important. This will prevent cockroaches from returning.
