Amanda Peet shares how her kids have supported her during Breast Cancer diagnosis
Washington DC [US], March 25 (ANI): Amanda Peet has shared how her children have supported her amid her breast cancer diagnosis, revealing that Frances, 19, Molly, 15, and Henry, 11, have been "great" during this challenging time.
In an interview with E! News, the actress opened up about the difficulty of finding the right time to inform her kids.
Peet, who is currently working on the second season of Your Friends & Neighbors, admitted that the hardest part of her diagnosis was realizing there was no perfect moment to tell her children. "I definitely had to get myself together before including them," she said, according to E! News.
Despite her children's support, Peet humorously recalled how they reacted when she tried to show them Something's Gotta Give, the 2003 film she starred in with Jack Nicholson. "They watched five minutes of it and saw me with Jack Nicholson--they turned it off. They were like, 'This is reprehensible. This is ethically dubious, and we're out,'" she laughed, acording to E! News.
Season two of Your Friends & Neighbors premieres on Apple TV April 3. (ANI)
