Atishi's father Vijay Kumar passes away: Kejriwal, Sisodia offer condolences

New Delhi | Delhi's former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Atishi's father, Vijay Kumar, passed away on Friday, party leaders said.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal expressed his condolences and prayed for peace for the departed soul.

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia also condoled the death, describing the news as "extremely heartbreaking" in a post on X.

He said Kumar had devoted his life to society and upheld the values of education and service.

Sisodia extended his sympathies to Atishi and her family, and prayed for strength for them to bear the loss.
