'Best' Skechers trainers 'ever bought' down from £72 to £43 'amazing' for mature shoppers
Shoppers are snapping up a discounted pair of Skechers trainers that they say are 'comfortable and easy to wear'. The deal on Amazon means buyers can currently save nearly 45% off - and they come in various colours and sizes.
The Skechers Women's Hands Free Slip-ins are currently available from Amazon for £42.89, down from £74, for the 'black textile trim' variant. They come in other colours at differing price points, along with sizes UK 2 to 10, plus a UK 11 wide.
The brand says wearers can 'step into effortless comfort' with these trainers, thanks to their slip-in design. They have air-cooled memory foam and are lightweight, making them a great option for those who need long-lasting comfort.
The trainers can be machine washed, so they are easy to care for, too. However, if shoppers are wanting other shoes, there are plenty of options out there.
As an alternative, Next has these Slip-On Signature Leather Chunky Wedge Platform Trainers in the colour navy for £52. These come in sizes 3 to 9, along with the colours black, metallic and white. They are made from soft leather and feature the brand's Forever Comfort padding for 'all-day comfortable wear', the site says.
Or there are these M&S Knitted Slip-On Trainers for £40. These come in three colours, including black with white soles, all black or navy with white soles, sizes 3 to 8, and they feature 'a modern knitted upper design for contemporary fashion style'. They also have a slip-on fastening and a flat heel to provide all-day comfort, the listing says.
Back to the Skechers Women's Hands Free Slip-ins on Amazon, shoppers have left an average 4.5 out of five-star rating, from more than 12,500 reviews. One said: "Best trainers I have ever bought. Have lived in them since purchase. Comfortable and easy to wear. Easy to wash and quick to dry. Good support and, despite being mesh, I never have wet feet."
Another person said: "Amazing value for this slip-on shoe, as bought for my elderly mum who can't bend down, so it's really easy. Exceptionally comfortable and lightweight to wear, as some of the new Skechers trainers, like the ones I have, are quite heavy. I will buy myself a pair of these as the sellers have a variety of different colours/shades to suit any age or size. I feel these are great value for money, and I took advantage of the 38% off the normal price, so maybe a good gift for family at Christmas to put away early, even though it's the 1st September today. Super fast delivery also 100%."
While a third wrote: "Bought to use for exercises after a knee replacement. Easy to slip into and non-slip. Very comfortable."
Others left some feedback for the trainers, with one writing as part of a longer review: "It is easy to slip your feet into them with a curved support at the inside of the back, but there does then appear to be a gap to the back of the heel and they do make your feet look bigger. They have memory foam cushioning inside which is really comfortable. I have given four stars so far as I haven't washed them, nor can I comment on longevity, so I'll update my review in a few months."
Another person said as part of a longer review: "I ordered the fully black shoes but I got delivered black with white soles."
