Malayalam's very own Bhavana is all set to make her entry into reality TV. No, not as a host or contestant, but as a judge. The gorgeous actress will be seen judging the first-ever comedy-cookery show in Malayalam, 'Comedy Cooks.' In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Bhavana shared her excitement about the new fun ride in her career.

When a section of actors still think twice to make their entry into reality TV, Bhavana shared that she feels that the divide is long gone.

"Mohanlal, Vijay Sethupathi , Kamal Haasan—all these big actors are ruling the reality TV world, and I don't think there still exists a divide between TV and cinema anymore. I agree there was such a clear line of divide in the last decade, but now that line is all gone. Earlier, when I got the chance to be a part of a TV show, it was tough for me to juggle between my movie shoots, so I had to skip it. Now, I have a small break before the start of my next movie shoot. Finally, everything fell in place, and here I am," she shared.

Comedy Cook is a fun cookery show that features popular faces from both TV and the social media space. The show is expected to be a fun mix of humour and cookery, which is indeed a new format for the Malayali audience. So, we asked Bhavana whether she is anxious about anchoring such a first-of-its-kind show in Malayalam.

"As a judge, I don't intend to comment on the contestant's culinary skills; we have Chef Nalan to do that most authentically. The fun lover in me is hoping for a fun experience, and the foodie in me is eagerly awaiting a tasty treat. The format of the show that features contestants from different age groups and backgrounds is sure to make it unique for me as well as the audience," she added.

Though she has only shot a couple of episodes for the show, Bhavana is quite excited about the differences between a movie shoot and the reality show world.

"When it comes to a movie shoot, you know about the scene and the dialogue. But, for a reality show, since there is no script, you don't know what you should do. On the first day of the shoot, I kept quiet till the other person finished their talk, thinking it was too rude to interrupt. But, it was new to me when the team said, 'You should say what you feel right at the moment; if you wait till the other one stops, you will never get to talk.' That was totally a new experience for me," the actress shared.
