The response felt especially noteworthy since Shahid Kapoor is set to collaborate with Adajania next in Cocktail 2. The director’s approval added weight to the growing praise and further fuelled anticipation for O Romeo, even though the two films belong to very different emotional worlds.

Blood-streaked and ferocious, the look hints at inner turmoil and violence. The teaser line, “O Romeo ki khushboo udegi iss Valentine’s,” makes it clear that this will not be a conventional love story. Along with Shahid Kapoor, the film also features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary and Disha Patani, among others.
O Romeo marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, after 'Kaminey', 'Haider' and 'Rangoon'.
