Cruz Beckham shares heartbreaking three-word message to estranged brother Brooklyn on his birthday

Newspoint

To celebrate his brother's birthday, Cruz Beckham has shared a heartbreaking tribute to Brooklyn, despite the eldest Beckham child's open animosity towards the family.

Posting to Instagram, Cruz shared a picture of a young Brooklyn, who turned 27 on 4 March, holding baby Cruz. Over the top, Cruz put a celebration emoji and wrote: "I love you."

In the picture, Brooklyn, who was six when Cruz was born, has two protective arms around his brother. The simple message of love comes after Brooklyn publicly stated that he has no desire to reconcile with his family.

He also stated that his brothers, Cruz and Romeo, were sent to "attack" him on social media. Prior to this message, things had already soured between the brothers, as Cruz and Romeo had both blocked Brooklyn. Cruz and Romeo have stuck with their parents, David and Victoria, through Brooklyn's statement, appearing with them at many events.

Cruz recently celebrated his 21 birthday. The day, 20 February, went unmarked by Brooklyn. However, the rest of the family all came together for a party and posed for a group photo.

When the photos were posted online, Victoria wrote: "Celebrating Cruz early!! We love you so much!!!" with David marking the event with a photo of the pair lovingly smiling at each other, writing alongside it: "We love celebrating you Cruzie. A lot of love in the room for you."

David Beckham also posted to Instagram with a birthday message for Brooklyn.
