Natural Solutions for Constipation: Many individuals often express their struggles with bowel movements, especially in the morning. When the digestive system fails to function properly, it can overshadow the entire day. Symptoms like bloating, gas, acidity, and sour belching can lead to discomfort and restlessness. A blocked stomach can hinder concentration and diminish appetite. Numerous people find themselves spending excessive time in the bathroom without success. If you are facing similar challenges, this article offers valuable insights. Recently, Yogacharya Kuldeep Tyagi shared a video on his Instagram, illustrating a straightforward technique to promote effective bowel movements.
When bowel movements are irregular, toxins can accumulate in the body, leading to various health issues such as skin breakouts, fatigue, and irritability. Many find themselves needing to rush to the restroom shortly after breakfast. Yogacharya emphasizes that the key to resolving this issue lies not in medication but in our posture and hydration habits.
Morning Routine for Bowel Health — Yoga Techniques for Constipation Relief:
Step 1: Hydrate in *Malasana*
Yogacharya Kuldeep Tyagi recommends starting your day by sitting in *Malasana* (Garland Pose).
Technique: Position your feet slightly apart and squat down, mimicking the traditional sitting posture for defecation. Maintain a straight spine.
Action: While in this position, slowly consume a glass of lukewarm water.
Advantage: This posture exerts pressure on the intestines, encouraging the stool to move downward and prompting the urge to evacuate.
Step 2: *Tiryaka Tadasana* (Swaying Palm Tree Pose)
After hydrating, it's essential to incorporate some movement. *Tiryaka Tadasana* is an excellent choice for this purpose.
Technique: Stand upright, interlace your fingers with palms facing up, and raise your arms towards the ceiling. Inhale deeply while stretching your body upwards, as if being pulled. Exhale and return to a relaxed position.
Step 3 – Twisting the Body:
In this final step, gently twist your torso to aid in waste elimination.
Technique: While standing, place one hand on your shoulder and the other on your lower back. Slowly twist your body to the right and then to the left.
Advantage: This exercise massages the abdominal organs, effectively addressing constipation at its source.
