Emmerdale star Amy Walsh gives birth as co-stars rush to congratulate her
Emmerdalestar Amy Walsh has given birth to a baby girl. The actress, 38, best known for starring as Tracy Metcalfe on the ITV soap, already has three-year-old Bonnie with EastEnders actor Toby Alexander-Smith, but took to social media on Monday morning to reveal that their second little one had arrived.
Amy, who is the sister of Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, did not reveal the name name of the little one but did explain she was in labour over a week ago, and has been in a "magical bubble" with her family ever since. Over the Christmas period, she revealed that she was having a little girl.
She wrote on Instagram: "This time last week I was heading into established labour. We’ve been in the most magical bubble ever since." Kimberley was the first to comment on her little sister's post, simply leaving behind a string of star emojis.

Isabel Hodgkins, who plays Victoia Sudgden on Emmerdale and is currently on maternity leave herself after giving birth to a baby girl as well, wrote: "Amazing!!
Coronation Street boss Kate Brooks, who is married to Amy's Emmerdale co-star Michelle Hardwick, wrote: "The most beautiful news. MASSIVE congratulations to you all. Sending oodles amounts of love your way xxxx" Fans of the soap actress, who also appeared in Hollyoaks Later, were also quick to send their well-wishes.
One said: "Congratulations to you all.... wonderful news, hope you both are well" whilst another said: "Huge congratulations to you all," and a third said: "Wonderful xx So happy for you guys xx"
