Gok Wan teases reunion with Hollyoaks star boyfriend as he posts sweet snap
Gok Wan has seemingly implied that he has got back together with David Ames. The TV star, 51, who shot to fame as the host of How To Look Good Naked in the early 2000s but in more recent years has explored his culinary career through programmes like This Morning, dated former Hollyoaks star David, 42, from 2014 until 2018.
But on Tuesday, the Easy Asian presenter took to social media to share a new post of himself and his former flame, some eight years after they initially called it quits.
The pair cosied up together in the snaps, and Gok captioned it: "Look at his silly face," which he emblazoned with a string of heart emojis. In the snaps, the pair look relaxed with each other and Gok looked as if he was aboutto pop his head on David's shoulder.

As well Hollyoaks, David may be familiar to television viewers for long-running role as Dominic Copeland in Holby City, which he played for almost a decade.
The TV star has also appeared in Doctor Who, Doctors, and in 2023, featured in an episode of The Madame Blanc Mysteries on Channel 5 alongside former Coronation Street actress Sally Lindsay.
The post certainly went down with fans, and several opted to leave heart emojis in the comments section, whilst one said: "Love you two!" Another said: "Lovely you two," and a third simply wrote "Love you."
Over his years in the public eye, Gok hasn't said a great deal about his personal life but his next post was a celebration of his sobriety.
He wrote: "8 weeks ago today I stopped drinking alcohol and quit fags. I didn't plan too and I'm not putting pressure on myself to say I will never drink again but right now it feels good and I don't miss it. I am going to say I won't smoke again because I REALLY want to quit forever...feeling a bit chuffed with myself."
In 2023, when Gok was preparing to reach his milestone birthday, he addressed being single as he admitted he wanted to "marry his life" instead of a person."
He said: "I'm not married and I've told myself, 'I'm going to marry my life at 50'. I'm going to marry my friends, family, job. I'm going to marry it all.
"I want everything that I've ever achieved and all of the amazing people that I've met there. That's not from a narcissistic point of view, it's not me marrying myself.
"I just really want to celebrate all of the great stuff in my life. I even want the friends that I've lost touch with or had a row with there as well, because they've all contributed something to my life."
