Japan Is Working on Regrowing Human Teeth

Losing a tooth might not be permanent in the future. Researchers in Japan have started testing a new drug that could actually help humans grow teeth again which is something that sounds straight out of science fiction.

The idea is surprisingly simple: the drug blocks a protein called USAG-1, which normally stops new teeth from forming. In earlier tests on animals like mice and ferrets, scientists managed to grow entirely new teeth. Now, human trials are underway, and if things go well, this could become a real treatment by 2030. Imagine replacing missing teeth naturally instead of relying on implants or dentures.

Costa Rica Is Quietly Running on Clean Energy

Costa Rica has been doing something remarkable for years and not many people talk about it. The country generates almost all of its electricity from renewable sources like water, wind, and geothermal energy.

In 2023, about 95% of its electricity was clean, and in previous years it even crossed 99%. While occasional droughts affect hydropower, Costa Rica has still managed to stay far ahead of most countries. It’s proof that a greener energy system isn’t just an ideal, it's already working somewhere.
