HDFC Bank UPI ATM Withdrawal Rules: HDFC Bank has decided that withdrawing cash from an ATM using UPI will now be included in your monthly free ATM transaction limit. This rule will come into effect from April 1, 2026. This means that if your free limit is exhausted, UPI-based cash withdrawals will be subject to the same additional charges as ATM transactions. Let's find out how much you'll have to pay and every important detail...
How much will the charge be?
From April 1, cash withdrawals using UPI at HDFC Bank ATMs will be treated like ATM withdrawals. This means they will count towards your free ATM limit. Once the free limit is exhausted, a charge of ₹23 plus tax will be levied on each transaction.

HDFC Bank offers a certain number of free ATM transactions per month to savings and salary account customers. Bank charges apply after exceeding these limits.
