'Hridayapoorvam' box office collections day 13: Mohanlal's film sees dip; mints Rs 31.85 crores
Mohanlal ’s heartwarming drama ‘ Hridayapoorvam ’ seems to be finding it hard to keep up with the pace of Kalyani Priyadarshan ’s action-packed superhero film ‘Lokah’. According to reports, the movie collected only Rs 1.15 crores on day 13, marking the lowest day-wise collection for the Mohanlal starrer, as per early estimates.
Audiences interest seem to be diminishing for ‘Hridayapoorvam’
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Hridayapoorvam’ has only managed to mint Rs 31.85 crores from India net collections and this is surely low when compared to other Mohanlal films. Even though Sathyan Anthikad ’s directorial managed to rake in Rs 3.25 crores on its opening day at the box office, slowly the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer ‘Lokah’ took control of the box office and ‘Hridayapoorvam’s box office performance faded.
Since ‘Hridayapoorvam’ is a light-hearted drama that is more relatable to family audiences, the Malavika Mohanan starrer has performed well on weekends. The week one collections for the film stood at Rs 20 crores, and by the end of week 2, the movie is expected to cross Rs 50 crores.
Occupancy rates for ‘Hridayapoorvam’

Overall, the Malayalam occupancy rates are looking average and are expected to pick up on weekends.
‘Hridayapoorvam’ stars Mohanlal, Sangeeth Prathap, Malavika Mohanan, and is directed by Sathyan Anthikad.
