If you are in Hapur, there's no need to worry about LPG cylinders! Simply call this number to get your supply delivered..
If you reside in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, you need not worry about any issues regarding LPG cylinders. We say this because the administration has issued a dedicated phone number specifically to resolve this problem. Simply by calling this number, an LPG cylinder will be delivered right to your doorstep. This is a toll-free number.
To address the grievances of the general public, the district administration has constituted a two-tier committee. Formed under the directives of the District Magistrate, this committee comprises the Tehsildar and the Regional Food Officer/Supply Inspector. This system has been implemented in view of the difficulties people faced in traveling to the district headquarters during public hearings. Now, for occasions such as weddings, religious ceremonies, or other essential purposes, concerned individuals can submit their applications by contacting the Tehsildar or the Supply Inspector/Regional Food Officer directly within their own respective Tehsils.
This initiative aims to streamline the process of making cylinders available. Additionally, toll-free numbers—01222304834, 01222304835, and 1077—have been issued for registering complaints. Citizens can call these numbers to report their issues. The District Supply Officer of Hapur has appealed to the general public to avail themselves of these facilities to get their grievances resolved.
It was noted that previously, applying for a cylinder required visiting the District Supply Officer's office and submitting an application form accompanied by an Aadhaar card and a wedding invitation card. Now, taking into account the difficulties faced by the public, a committee has been constituted at the Tehsil level, and a control room has also been established. District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey stated that organizers of weddings, religious ceremonies, and social events can now submit applications to request cylinders in advance of their events. While this previously necessitated a visit to the district headquarters, the system has now been decentralized to the Tehsil level—complete with the issuance of helpline numbers—to ensure greater convenience for the public.
