If your periods come on April 2, then on which day can getting intimate increase the chances of pregnancy?
"If I get my period on April 2nd, when should I have sex to conceive?" This question is on many women's minds. Let's discuss this calculation with a doctor and clear up any doubts.
How many days after period can pregnancy occur?
These questions often arise in women's minds when they try to conceive. It's crucial for any couple to understand this, as pregnancy requires more than just sexual intercourse, but also knowing the days when one should be intimate. Many women are unaware of their fertile days. These are the days when intimacy is most likely to lead to pregnancy. Consider this: if your period came on April 2nd, there are a few days before your next period when intimacy increases the likelihood of conception. Let's discuss this calculation with an expert and resolve your confusion. Dr. Sonu Khokhar, MBBS, Health and Wellness Expert, explains this to us.
If your periods come on April 2, then on which day can getting intimate increase the chances of pregnancy?Experts say that this is a question many women have, and couples often become worried that they are unable to conceive despite trying for a long time. Often, the reason behind this is that they are not trying during ovulation days.
- Let us explain this to you in simple terms. First, understand that to conceive, you must be intimate during your ovulation days. To calculate your ovulation days, you should also consider the length of your menstrual cycle.
- If your menstrual cycle is regular and 28 days (which is the most common), ovulation occurs around day 14. If your period came on April 2nd, ovulation would occur around April 15th or 16th. Therefore, the most fertile days are April 12th and 17th. Furthermore, April 14th, 15th, and 16th are considered the days with the highest chances.
- Your menstrual cycle is counted from the day your period begins. Therefore, calculate your ovulation days in the same way.
- Many women may experience mild abdominal pain, spotting, or bloating during these days, and sometimes their body temperature may also rise slightly. You can also identify these periods by this.
