Imtiaz Ali says 'Heer Ranjha' speaks the language of Gen Z while staying culturally rooted
Mumbai, Feb 14 (IANS) Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who is set to join forces with the queen of television, Ektaa Kapoor for the upcoming film ‘Heer Ranjha’, has said that the film speaks the love language of this generation while staying rooted in something eternal.
Imtiaz Ali and Ektaa Kapoor are reuniting after the cult success of ‘Laila Majnu’.
Talking about the film, Imtiaz Ali shared, “‘Heer Ranjha’ has its own world and rhythm, it speaks the love language of this generation while staying rooted in something eternal. Collaborating with Ektaa again feels like a natural continuation of a shared emotional language”.,
