Jude Law's ex has hit out at Chappell Roan again after her security team reportedly left her daughter in tears. Over the weekend, Catherine Harding claimed that the singer's security guard interrupted their family breakfast to give them a telling off after her 11-year-old had walked past pop star Chappell to check if it was really her.

Catherine is mother to Ava, 11,with Hollywood star Jude, but is now married to former Arsenal player Jorginho who spoke out against Chappell's antics over the weekend. Chappell herself has denied that her security team were involved. The singer said she ‘didn’t even see’ the child, and said ‘no one bothered me’ as she claimed the security guard who spoke to the family wasn’t her personal staff.

Hitting back at those claims, Catherine has now taken to Instagram to write: "I know that Chappell has responded, saying that 'It wasn't her security and that she didn't do it' well,100% this wasn't a security guard of the hotel that's what I can say, he looks after artists."

She went on: "Now I don't know if he's her personal security guard but he was with her, so that is all I know, did she send him to do it? again, I don't know, I would like to hope not. But at the same time you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.

"So would he do that if he didn't have her authority? I don't know. If he does, that's a big problem. because then he is representing her in a way she doesn't want to be represented."

Catherine then insisted that the Pink Pony Club singer was right to say she "didn't notice anything" and claimed all that happened was that her daughter walked past the table in silence.

She added: "[My daughter] didn't have her phone, she didn't try to take a picture, she didn't do anything, she just looked at [Chappell] and smiled." But she then recalled that a "aggressive and intimidating" security guard came over to them. She added: "He said we should not harass people and all these other things and I did try to explain to him that he was a child and she was just excited to see an artist she liked.

"I hope [Chappell] did not know, I hope she did not send her security over to do this. I really think she is a very very talented artist we liked her a lot we came all the way to São Paulo to watch her show. It was her birthday present! She asked for tickets, it was a little bit ruined because we didn't go to the show last night but that's how it is. I hope that maybe if it wasn't her that maybe she learns not to allow the people who work for her not to treat people like this."

Catherine's post comes just hours after Chappel took to social media to share her side of the story.

She said: "I'm just going to tell my half of the story of what happened today with a mother and child who were involved with a security guard who is not my personal security.

"So, the fact that, like a security guard, who was – I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child, I did not. They did not come up to me.

"They weren't doing anything; it's unfair for security to just assume someone doesn't have good intentions when they have no reason to believe, because there's no action even taken."

Lying in bed, Chappell continued: "I do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children; that is crazy. I'm sorry to the mother and child that someone was assuming something, that you would do something, and that… if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad. You did not deserve that."
