Justin Bieber makes huge music comeback as he lines up major performance

Justin Bieber might have been teasing new tunes lately and a potential concert soon, but it's an old school banger that is beginning to set the charts alight once again. The singer, 31, is reportedly in talks to play a huge comeback gig at a British festival later this year.

And it would come nine years after he last took to the stage in the UK. A song the super star teamed up with legendary artist and producer DJ Snake to release a year earlier in 2016 has found now itself making waves on Spotify a decade on.

After becoming one of the most defining global crossover records of its era, the tune amassed billions of streams and left a lasting mark on pop and electronic music worldwide. It peaked at number two in the UK charts at the time and is still a mainstay on many playlists.

So, it's perhaps unsurprising that it has re-entered the Spotify Global Top 50 as the 2016 trend takes a firm grip. Have you guessed what the song is?

Let Me Love You was a hugely popular tune by DJ Snake, featuring Justin Bieber. The popular creator has also created hit tunes such as Lean On with Major Lazer and MØ, one of the most streamed songs of all time.

Other global hits include Turn Down for What with Lil Jon, and Taki Taki with Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B. As DJ Snake continues to shape contemporary music on a global scale, the return of his tune with Bieber to the charts stands as a testament to the lasting power of cultural classics in the streaming era.

Snake recently released a new album he says "goes beyond an album tracklist". Speaking of the launch, DJ Snake - whose real name is William Sami Étienne Grigahcine - said: "I grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard.

"Nomad is a tribute to that upbringing, always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. Nomad goes beyond an album tracklist. It's a cultural statement."

Bieber, meanwhile, continues to tease new tracks. In September he surprised fans with a new album. SWAG, his seventh studio album, was released back in July after a four-year hiatus from the music scene. 'DAISIES', the standout single, topped the UK charts as Bieber has now claimed his eighth No 1 single.

The feat sees him rank on the all-time list of artists with the most Official UK Number 1 singles. It saw him draw level with the likes of Oasis, The Rolling Stones and Sam Smith.

And shortly after his release he revealed a follow-up was on its way. As well as his music, his private life has been a huge talking point in recent months.

Eagle-eyed followers have claimed this week that the singer has liked a 2016 picture of himself kissing his ex, Selena Gomez. It was alleged that the dad-of-one, who married Hailey Bieber in 2018, liked a comment under the post before undoing the comment hours later.

The comment, which read 'Vivan los novios', means 'Long live the bride and groom!' in Spanish. The person who wrote it claims Justin clicked the heart button on it.

Justin and Selena had a turbulent relationship from 2010 to 2018. While Justin moved on with Hailey, Selena tied the knot with Benny Blanco last year.
