Kangana Ranaut begins Kolkata visit with divine blessings ahead of West Bengal polls

Kangana Ranaut recently paid visit to the cultural heart of Kolkata with a blend of spirituality and political purpose. 

Ahead of starting her everyday routine work, the actress turned political seek blessing of Goddess Kali by visiting the holy place- Kalighat temple. Dressed simply yet elegantly in a saree, she offered prayers with deep devotion, taking part in rituals that drew the attention of many present at the temple.

Kangana, currently serving as a Member of Parliament from Himachal Pradesh, is reportedly in the city as part of preparations for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections 2026. For the unversed, the Election Commission will hold the West Bengal Assembly elections 2026 in two phases -on April 23 and April 29 down from the eight phases last time. Counting of votes will be held on May 4.
