KBC: When host Amitabh Bachchan spoke about his make-up artist
Kaun Banega Crorepati season 17 recently came to an end after entertaining audiences for five months. However, an old video from one of the previous seasons is doing the rounds on social media. The legendary actor, who hosts the quiz based reality show, once opened up about his make-up artist Deepak Sawant and praised his unwavering dedication.
In an old video that has now surfaced on social media, Big B shared, “This is Deepak Sawant. He has been working with me for 50 years. And let me tell you one more thing. In 50 years, I have worked in at least 200 films. There was not a single day when he was not with me. Absolutely duty-bound. He will come on time, no matter what happens. Whether you are sick or whatever. Not a single day in 50 years when he is not with us. And there is a serious problem in saying one more thing, but let me say it”.

He further said, “Three days ago, Deepak Sawant's brother died. And despite that, he has come to work. He did not have anyone to tell him to work today. This is integrity. This is commitment”.
In the final episode of KBC 17, host Big B got emotional after watching an AV of the best moments from across seasons. He said, "Sometimes, we live in a moment in which we get so lost in it that when that moment comes to an end, it feels as if it had just begun, and it's ending so soon. Everything feels like yesterday. Going through these feelings, I am going to start the last day of the game. Spending more than a third of my life with all of you is a great honor for me. Whenever I have said to my heart that we are coming, all of you have welcomed me with open arms. Whenever I have laughed, all of you have laughed with me. Whenever I have cried, all of you have cried with me. All of you have been a part of this journey with me from the beginning to the end. All I have to say to you is that I have the ability. If you are here, then this is a game, and if this is a game, then we are here."
He also sang a medley of folk and traditional songs non-stop for 32 minutes. He also sang some of his popular songs like Mere Angne Mein, Padosan Apni Murgi Ko Rakhna Sambhal amongst others.
