Peter Andre 'petrified' at the thought of becoming a granddad - 'I'm too young'
Peter Andre has admitted he is "absolutely petrified" at the idea of becoming a grandfather. The 53-year-old singer is married to Emily MacDonagh, and has Millie, 12, Theo, nine, and 23-month old Belle with her, as well as Junior, 20, and 18-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price.
The Mysterious Girl singer was thrilled to see that his fellow TV star Jeff Brazier had become a grandfather when his son Freddy, 21, whose mother is late Big Brother legend Jade Goody, had welcomed daughter Isla Jane with ex-girlfriend Holly Swinburn.
But when it comes to the idea of being a grandparent himself, Peter,who is almost a decade older than Jeff, still feels "too young" at this stage in his life to see his children having children.

Writing in his new! magazine column, he said: "Incredible for Jeff Brazier, becoming a granddad at 46. I am so happy for him, although the thought of it it absolutely petrifies me. I’m 53 and I am absolutely not ready to be a granddad just yet, I feel way too young for it! Jeff looks great, he’s a young grandfather - I defo feel way too young for it."
The formerI'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!contestant did admit though that should his children choose to become parents one day themselves, he doesn't want to be referred to as the traditional "grandpa" and already has a nickname picked out.
"When I do become a grandfather, I’ve told the kids, I want to be called Pops or The OG, as in ‘The Original Greek’. Or The ‘Old Greek’! I just don’t want to be called grandpa. But good on Jeff and huge congratulations!
Jeff had clearly embraced his new title from the getgo, and took to Instagram to post a video where he started off wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts as he showed off toned physique and picked out an outfit for the day. He captioned the video: "Get dressed with Grandad??!!
"I still can’t believe we’re here but blessings aside I need your help, I’m popping into town for a bit of work and then I’m going to top up on cuddles with my granddaughter. Which of the 3 @percival_menswear tops should I wear?
Jeff has been providing updates since his granddaughters arrival and even revealed that he spent two nights sleeping in his camper van, known as Pamela, with his son Bobby ahead of the birth. He opened up on the experience and said he and Bobby spent two nights in the van to be closer to the hospital.
Taking to Instagram last weekend, Jeff wrote: "Bob and I stayed nearby in the camper for both nights while Holly and Fred were in hospital. I didn't want Pamela to feel left out. We used near by a nearby gym for showers, food and long period of nervous, excited waiting time."
He then posted an emotional message, writing: "Dear Isla Jade. You have no idea how deeply loved you are. There are so many good people standing behind you, and a very special angel watching over you. Mummy and Daddy gave you her name, and were going to tell you all about her."
