Western Railway: Amidst the rising passenger rush during the summer season, the Railways have made preparations to provide relief to travelers. Western Railway has decided to operate three pairs of 'Summer Special' trains passing through the Ratlam Division. The operation of these trains will provide passengers traveling between Mumbai, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh with the benefit of direct connectivity. Additionally, extra coaches will be added to nine existing trains passing through the Ratlam Division. This will increase seat availability in currently running trains and make it easier for passengers to secure confirmed tickets.

**Which Cities Will These Trains Connect?**

These special trains will run from Mumbai's Bandra Terminus to various cities across North India. The routes include major stations such as Jhansi, Subedarganj, and Agra Cantt. Among these Summer Special trains, one will depart from Mumbai's Bandra Terminus and travel to Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi. A second train will originate from Bandra Terminus and proceed to the Subedarganj station in Prayagraj. Meanwhile, the third train will depart from Udhna station in Gujarat and travel to Agra Cantt. All these trains will traverse the Ratlam Division. This initiative will provide long-distance travelers with the advantage of direct connections, thereby reducing the hassle of frequent train changes.

The major stations within the Ratlam Division that will directly benefit from this initiative include Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, and Dahod. The scheduled halts at these stations will also make travel more convenient for local passengers in these areas. These trains are scheduled to operate on various dates ranging from early April through July. This decision was taken in view of the surging demand during the summer months, aiming to ensure that passengers can secure confirmed seats and to alleviate overcrowding pressure.

Both AC and non-AC coaches will be available on these trains, catering to the needs of passengers from diverse economic backgrounds. The Ratlam Division has also shared information regarding this decision on social media, urging passengers to take advantage of these special trains.
