Skechers trainers that are 'just like wearing slippers' now on sale for less than £35
A comfy pair of trainers can be a real game-changer, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet. And there's a pair of slip-on trainers from Skechers that shoppers have dubbed "the best, most comfortable" shoes ever. In a review on Amazon, one Skechers customer said: "I work on my feet all day, and they are my go-to shoes." Of course, they're not just great for work. They're also a versatile option that's quick and easy to slip on, making them ideal for running errands or commuting.
And right now, the Skechers Women's Go Walk Joy Gym Shoes are currently on offer for £34.99, reduced from £59, on Amazon. According to the brand, the shoes are specifically designed to be lightweight and feature a flexible sole, meaning they're made to move naturally with your foot and deliver comfort without the heaviness of more structured trainers. The shoes also have built-in cushioning in the sole, which Skechers says is designed to absorb impact as you walk.
This is why some shoppers have even compared them to wearing slippers. In one review, a customer said: "Been absolutely amazing, just like wearing slippers."
A breathable mesh upper is said to help keep feet cool, while the padded collar boosts comfort around the ankle.
The trainers also feature a soft fabric lining inside, creating a slipper-like feel, while a strengthened heel panel with a top loop makes slipping on and off easy. Available on Amazon in various colours and sizes at different price points, they also come in wide, normal and narrow fitting options.
"My last pair of Skechers slip-ons has lasted six or seven winters. Worn every day," said one shopper who had purchased a new pair.
"So comfy. Safe to drive in and on ice or snow. Great support. Highly recommend."
Another customer added: "The best, most comfortable shoe, plus slip-resistant. I wear them for work! Had cheap copies in the past. They lasted a few months; my first pair (of Skechers) is over a year old! Second pair for work at least six months old."
However, one customer said they felt the sizing wasn't quite right. They wrote: "Lovely but were really big, so go down one size."
Another added: "Lovely shoes, they are very comfortable, but they are not as long-lasting as they once used to be."
