Strictly's Dianne Buswell says she's 'in awe' in sweet baby update
Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has said she’s “in awe”of her body as she prepares to welcome her first child with Joe Sugg. The heavily pregnant star and YouTuber Joe met via the BBC show in 2018, and announced they were expecting a child back in September 2025.
Sharing a series of snaps on Instagram, Dianne wrote: " So in awe of what my body has been able to do during pregnancy. I always thought i would struggle mentally with the changes to my body but actually it’s made me appreciate it more than ever before. Can’t wait to meet you darling boy.”

On February 24, Dianne and Joe were forced to issue a birth update after an AI snap surfaced of them supposedly with their baby.
"I worry for the Facebook generation sometimes with all this AI malarkey," he joked when he said "that's not our baby" when pointing at the image.
Talking about the snap, Joe said: "So I had loads of family and friends messaging me being like 'oh, um, congrats on the news. We thought you'd tell us first before the internet."
Looking flabbergasted, Joe said: "This is AI. Look, that's not me. I don't know who that is, but it's not me. I mean, I'd take it! I'd quite like to look like that, to be honest. But, that's not me. That's not my chin. That's not my hair unfortunately."
Turning to the so-called image of Dianne, he went on: "That's not Dianne. And that's not our baby. Although, I do hope he's that cute."
Dianne then appeared on screen showing her heavily pregnant self. "I am still very much pregnant," she said as she nodded with her top pulled up. Joe finished his upload by saying: "Yeah, he's not here. It's AI. Um, AI, it's getting scary."
Fans and friends were quick to rush to the comments section to voice their opinions. Among them were a number of Dianne's Strictly co-stars, including Gorka Marquez, who revealed his own AI issues.
"Is Okey guys according to AI news we are pregnant again and got married last week in secret wedding," he chuckled. And Vito Coppola couldn't help but laugh, either. Another follower joked: "Guys this is just the ai speaking, they’ve had the baby."
Just days earlier, Dianna had furiously hit out at trolls who have been mocking her for showing off her baby bump. She shared a clip online of herself walking confidently towards the camera with her bump on full display.
She lifted her t-shirt to show off the bump and captioned the upload with a taunting comments towards her vile trolls. “But why do you always have your belly out?," she mocked.
They have continued to share sweet snaps over the years as their romance blossomed.. And the dancer previously admitted she thought she would struggle with how her body changed throughout her pregnancy.
She said at the time: "I really thought I would struggle with the fact my body is changing so much. But it’s the most beautiful thing creating life. I feel so lucky. Genuinely thought the body changing would really stress me out but it’s really magical."
Speaking last summer about their relationship and potentially starting a family, Dianne told Prima: "When Joe and I met, it wasn’t until the show ended that we realised we missed each other’s company a lot – our relationship went from there. We always got on, he was so funny to me, and I loved how creative he was," she told Prima last summer.
"We’ve always wanted kids, it’s just finding the right time. I don’t feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don’t see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I’m quite spiritual."
