'The Raja Saab' star Malavika Mohanan says some actors don't read dialogues, says, 'they just count 1,2,3,4'
Actress Malavika Mohanan has worked in multiple industries under her filmography umbrella. Recently, the actress shared her views on how some female actors work in Tamil and Telugu films . She went on to reveal that many actress do not even look at their dialogue lines while acting, rather just say numbers or letters during the shoot.
Actors dubbing their dialogue laterWhile speaking with Galatta Plus, she explained it clearly. “In Tamil and Telugu films, for the longest time, I know a few female actors where they don't even bother to look at the line.” She added that when actors are sad, they just count “1,2,3,4” and when angry, they say “A,B,C,D”. According to her, these actors believe they can fix lip movement later during dubbing.

‘ The Raja Saab ’ actress did not call it a rare thing. She said this has been happening for many years. “This is not a one off instance. There are actors who have done this their entire careers,” she said.

Recently, while speaking with News18, she talked about how female-led big-budget films are quite uncommon. She said that a lot of male producers and actor in the past have mentioned that a female-led film won’t have a sort of pull, so they can’t invest on the project after a certain amount.
