Indian Railways: If you're planning to travel by train in the last week of February, be sure to check your train status before leaving home. Due to development work in the Adra Railway Division, Indian Railways has decided to cancel several trains on this route. Additionally, several trains will be short-terminated/originated, which may impact passenger travel. To avoid inconvenience, you can read the list of canceled trains below...

These trains will be canceled:

Asansol Adra/Asansol MEMU (train numbers 68045/68046) will be canceled on February 24 and 25.
Adra Williamnagar/Adra MEMU (train numbers 68077/68078) will be canceled on February 26 and March 1.
The Adra Medininagar/Adra MEMU (train no. 68090/68089) will be cancelled on February 23, 24, 26, 27, and March 1.
The Asansol Purulia/Asansol MEMU (train no. 63594/63593) will be cancelled on February 24 and 25.
The Adra Barabhum MEMU (train no. 68053/68054) will be cancelled on February 23.

These trains have been shortened.
The Tatanagar Jammu Tawi Express (train no. 18019/18020) will run only to Bankura on February 23 and 24. For your information, this train runs to Dhanbad.
The Bokaro Hatia MEMU (train no. 13503/13504) will run only to Gomoh, which will be its last station.

The Tata Asansol Barabhum MEMU (train no. 68056/68060) will run only up to and depart from Adra on February 26, 28, and March 1.

The Asansol Purulia MEMU (train no. 63594/63593) will also run only up to and return from Adra on February 23.

Diverted route for this train
Due to a rolling block in the Adra division, train no. 18601 Tata Hatia Express will run via the diverted Chandil Gunda Bihar, Muri route on February 24, 25, and 28, instead of its scheduled Chandil Purulia Kotshila Muri route.
