Why Should One Bathe Daily During Vaishakh?
According to the *Vrat Parichay* (Guide to Observances), one should bathe every morning from *Chaitra Shukla Purnima* until *Vaishakh Shukla Purnima*. If possible, one should bathe before sunrise in a river, well, or lake located at a pilgrimage site. If this is not feasible, you may bathe using pure water within the comfort of your own home. Bathing daily during Vaishakh is believed to eradicate all types of diseases and afflictions, increase spiritual merit, and enhance one's overall influence and aura.

Rules for Bathing and Worship During Vaishakh

During the month of Vaishakh, one should wake up daily during the *Brahma Muhurat* (the auspicious pre-dawn period) and take a bath.
The *Brahma Muhurat* is considered the most excellent time for bathing.
Fill a vessel with water for your morning bath and mix a small amount of *Gangajal* (holy water from the Ganges) into it.

Thereafter, bathe while meditating upon and reciting the name of your *Ishta Dev* (chosen deity).

After bathing, wear clean clothes and offer worship to Lord Vishnu.
During the worship, chant the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" or "Hare Rama, Hare Rama."
You may chant these mantras 108 times, 1008 times, or according to your personal capacity.

After completing the mantra chanting, consume only one meal per day throughout this month.
In this manner, you should observe the rituals of bathing and worship during Vaishakh for a period of 31 days.
