Victoria Beckham lands first solo number one after Brooklyn's explosive outburst
Following her son's nuclear post claiming she "hijacked" his wedding and was "controlling", Victoria Beckham has become the best-selling solo artist of the week.
According to the Official Charts Company Download Chart, Victoria's solo single Not Such An Innocent Girl was the best-selling and most downloaded song of the week, a whole 25 years after the song was first released. It has not only re-entered the singles sales chart but topped it.
This comes only a few days after she and her husband, David, were blasted in a bombshell statement released by their son, Brooklyn. The statement made hefty claims about the pair, alleging that they had been "controlling" him and spread "countless lies to the media" in an attempt to protect "Brand Beckham". In one particularly viral allegation, Brooklyn claimed his mother "hijacked" his first dance at his 2022 wedding and danced "very inappropriately on me".

His statement split the internet into two camps - team Brooklyn and team Beckham. The latter half appears to have bought and downloaded Victoria's 2001 single in droves.
Though it did not crack the overall singles chart, which sees Dave/Tems Raindance at the top, just nudging past Djo's End Of Beginning, it was at the top of the sales chart.
The sales chart tracks the top 40 singles based on downloads, CDs, vinyl and other formats across a week. It does not track streams on apps such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Nt Such An Innocent Girl has not been on the sales chart before, but was on the singles chart, peaking at number six in 2001. Her solo career followed huge success as part of the girl band Spice Girls.
Dubbed Posh Spice, Victoria rose to fame alongside Melanie 'Mel B' Brown, Melanie 'Mel C' Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell-Horner. Mel B was Scary Spice, Mel C was Sporty Spice, and Emma and Geri were Baby and Ginger, respectively.
The group was formed in 1994 and had nine number ones on the singles chart, including Wannabe, Say You'll Be There, and 2 Become 1. They also had two number one albums, their debut album Spice and Spiceworld. Victoria's eponymous album from 2001 reached number 10 on the albums chart.
In 2008, Victoria swapped the music industry for fashion. Her brand, also called Victoria Beckham, was part of Brooklyn's explosive post, as he claimed that his mother was supposed to make Nicola Peltz's wedding dress and dropped out "at the eleventh hour".
However, at the time, Vogue reported that Nicola's bridal stylist told them the Valentino dress she wore had been in the works for a year. The article also says how Nicola and her mother made multiple trips to the Valentino atelier in Rome for the fittings, "over the year-long design process".
Posh and Becks, as Victoria and David are known, have not publicly spoken out about their son's claims. They three other children, sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper.
