Where is the Hannah Montana cast now ahead of 20th anniversary special
Disney Channel fans have been sent into a frenzy by the return of Hannah Montanaand her entourage.
We can't quite believe it's been 20 years since the iconic series premiered, but leading actress Miley Cyrus is set to celebrate the milestone with a new anniversary special, coming to Disney+ on March 24.
Filmed in front of a live audience, it will feature an exclusive interview with Miley, hosted by Call Her Daddy podcaster Alex Cooper.

Viewers will also be treated to never-before-seen archival footage and deep dives into some of the most iconic moments from set.

Millie Cyrus as Miley Stewart/ Hannah MontanaMiley Cyrus took on the starring role of ordinary teenager Miley Stewart, who doubles as major pop star Hannah Montana.
Unlike her character, the actress didn't get the best of both worlds. Miley catapulted to global fame following her Disney Channel debut - and we highly doubt she could disguise herself by throwing on a wig.
She has built an impressive music career and bagged two Grammy Awards for her viral hit 'Flowers' in 2024. The singer followed that up with another award for her country ballad with Beyonce, titled 'II Most Wanted'.
Although she has slowed down on acting, Miley recently played a pop star in BlackMirror season five.
As for her personal life, the Disney icon is engaged to fellow musician Maxx Morando. She was previously in an on-and-off relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth. The pair met on the set of The Last Song in 2010, before marrying in 2018. The pair finalised their divorce in 2020.
Billy Ray Cyrus played a fictionalised version of himself; a country music star who retired to raise his children and manage his daughter's career.
In real life, the singer is a two-time Grammy winner with a string of acting credits. Since Hannah Montana, he notably featured in teen drama 90210 and American sitcom Still the King.
As for his love life, Billy Ray is in a relationship with Austin Powers actor and model Liz Hurley.
Emily Osment as Lilly TruscottEmily Osment played Miley's on-screen best friend Lilly, who was one of the first people to learn about Hannah Montana's real identity.
After the show, Emily became a major sitcom actress starring in Young Sheldon and Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage. Both shows belong to The Big Bang Theory universe and boast huge fanbases.
Off-screen, the actress recently went through a divorce from musician Jack Anthony after just five months of marriage. Confirming the news in September 2025, she told PEOPLE: "I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out."

Miley's on-screen brother Jason Earles has stayed relatively under the radar compared to his co-stars.
The actor was 29 years old when he played 16-year-old Jackson, making him closer to the age of the adults in the show. He has since transitioned into training young actors, although he briefly returned to his Disney roots in 2022.
Jason guest-starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in seasons three and four.
The 48-year-old has also just announced a new Hannah Montana-themed podcast, titled Best of Both Our Worlds: The Official, Unofficial Hannah Montana Podcast. Fans can submit questions into the show for Jason and other special guests from the hit series to answer.
Away from the spotlight, Jason married his long-term girlfriend Katie Drysen in August 2017. He shared stunning images of their big day on Instagram, describing it as "the most magical day".
Mitchel Musso as Oliver OkenMitchel Musso, who played Miley and Lilly's boy best friend Oliver Oken, went on to enjoy even more Disney roles.
He notably starred in Disney XD's Pair of Kings, which follows brothers Boomer and Brady (Mitchel) after they discover they are heirs to the throne of the Island of Kinkou.
However, the 34-year-old has seemingly found his calling in voice acting. He is best known for voicing Jeremy Johnson in popular animated show Phineas and Ferb.
